Race at Robyn's Hawthorn Farm on October 16th. $50 added 3D, If over 50 riders it will be a 4D. Entries until 2:30 pm, warm-ups start at 3 pm. Please be there to ride, of course, help set up barrels and support our club! Thanks to Robyn for having this race! Please purchase some lotto tickets to donate and give them to Lorri Holcomb this Sat at JP's, Sunday at Painted Pony or next Saturday at Robyn's. The Lotto Tree will be raffled off at the race on October 16th. Thanks Lorri for this great idea and for being in charge of the lotto tree! A $500 raffle was proposed for a new fundraiser. Only 200 tickets will be sold for $5 each. It's mandatory for each club member to buy 4 tickets, you can sell them or keep them, your choice. The drawing is on December 8th at our meeting. The awards banquet will be held at the Racino in Saratoga Springs, as it was a success last year. It will be one of the last 3 weekends in January. To be announced... Members present at the June and October meetings discussed and decided that we would like to go back to "a pile" of smaller awards and that awards that advertise our club are preferred. Year end award choices that were discussed are: Personalized NCBRA Softshell Vests and Jackets, Saddle covers, Director's Chairs, Horse coolers, and perhaps hoodies. Please email us any other ideas you have. Awards will be voted on and chosen at the November meeting. Please be there and give your input! Jackets and vests will be available to try on. |
Our next meeting will be Wednesday November 3rd at the Wilton Town Court. **This will be when the $500 raffle tickets will be sold to members - remember this is a mandatory fundraiser for everyone so please be there or make arrangements for someone to buy your tickets for you. Thanks! |
